Owen's school did a word parade. He had such a time picking out a word. Owen disliked all my suggestions and finally came up with CAMOUFLAGE! Matt created the costume out of a camo shirt and a box. I made his little sign to carry with words cut out from my Cricut. Owen even wore his camo tennis shoes with his school uniform -cute! The word parade was an extension of the first grader's reading of Miss Alanieus Vocabulary disaster by Debra Fraiser. The entire school took part in the parade.
